EVERYWHERE... / FAKE SELL WALLS
A X, X Everywhere post.
Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Pixar's Toy Story (1995). Buzz has an arm around Woody and points at the horizon with a wide grin, while Woody looks deeply worried. The caption repeats one word: "X, X everywhere." Buzz is thrilled about whatever it is. Woody is not. That's the whole format, and it fits almost anything that's suddenly all around you. "Bugs, bugs everywhere" for a programmer's first day. "Sand, sand everywhere" for the week after the beach. "Meetings, meetings everywhere" for any calendar on a Monday. It also works for pumpkin spice in October and spoilers on the morning after a finale. Buzz, at this point in the film, still thinks he's a real space ranger. So he's very confident and slightly wrong, which is the right energy for pointing at a trend. Woody has seen enough to know where this ends. **Why it caught on:** two words and a picture cover every moment something takes over your life.
