So you're telling me you have so much clean water / You shit in it?
A Skeptical 3rd World Kid post.
Third World Skeptical Kid is a photo of a young African boy giving the camera a long, doubtful sideways look. The original photo's source is not well documented. The joke is never on him. He is the reasonable one, looking at the rest of us and our habits. The top line usually opens with "So you're telling me" and quotes a first-world habit; the bottom line finishes it with what that sounds like from outside. "So you're telling me... you pay a monthly fee to watch someone else play video games?" "You buy water in bottles... and then pay for a gym to sweat it out?" "You have a fridge full of food... and nothing to eat?" Said aloud, most of our routines don't survive the question. His expression is the face of anyone hearing them for the first time - polite, but not buying it. **Why it caught on:** it gives a fresh pair of eyes to habits we never think to question.
